Resistance in parallel.....not quite as straight forward as resistance in series....take care when you are doing these questions....so easy to forget the last step.

Some examples will have helped...

You handled the experiments well...we shall talk more about potential dividers next lesson...

NAB over and done with for most of you.....date set for those who did not sit as Thursday 2nd December - lunch cards available....as the test will start at 12.45

Brief review of what we had done to date in electricity. I was very impressed with the amount you remembered. Well done...

Homework for next lesson (Wednesday) is to make sure you have all the notes up to and including page 21 copied up and to do the following questions....

Apologies for doing the feedback of the test in such a strange order....but either way you get the same result form the test - areas of strength and weakness.....

As usual I am happy to answer any questions...so please do !!!!

Remember NAB is being done in the next lesson....which is Monday 22nd ..so keep revising..keep asking questions....and of course good luck.


Must add that I am sooooo proud of this class.....you are all doing so much more than last session and it is starting to show...

Revision is the order of the day.....so it was just a case of selecting a topic and working on it.

I was very impressed..you all did just that.

Please repeat this exercise at home...in class revision is not sufficient.

If you want to borrow a question book then please come and collect one.

There will be time for a little revision on Thursday and then the test is Monday.

Yes heads down and good work......conservation of Energy means that heat in equals heat out.

Use the solutions I gave you to practise other questions.

Now revision.....homework for next lesson (Monday) is to look at topic 1 and 2 using the revision sheets and complete the LOs.

So ....heat I think we have it under control...well done :-)

Two equations..two very different times when we use them.

Don't forget that we also have to remember that the heat given out by a hotter material will equal the heat taken in by the colder material....
